A Note About Our Classes:

You must register for our classes at least one week in advance so that we have supplies for your kit. You are also welcome to bring your own supplies, just let us know at registration what your plans are. If you must cancel, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. Notice of less than 48 hours, will forfeit your class fee.

Visit stitchingforpink.org to make a $5 donation that will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  In return for your donation, you will receive 10 exclusive embroidery designs with project directions.  This campaign will wrap up the 30th of October, so be sure to take action soon!

My Embroideries also has a "pink" design for sale and directions for a small wall quilt.  Visit their site at www.myembroideries.com.   In the search window type in 410601 to get the design and then print out the instructions.

 

August 3, 2010—Fairyland—Okay girls, this will be our last embroidery class! We’ll do the fairies jumping on the beds this month! Class Times: 9:00a-11:00a or 6:00p-8:00p; Class Fee: $10.00; Kit Fee: $15.00; Instructor: Paula.

 

August 10, 2010—Mitten Embroidery—This is an embroidery club project from Husqvarna Viking that I thought would be cute for a class! Start getting ready for Christmas early this year! Use them for ornaments or attach them to placemats to hold silverware! Class Times: 9:00a-11:00a or 6:00p-8:00p; Class Fee: $10.00; Kit Fee: $20.00; Instructor: Paula.

 

August 17, 2010—Marie Antoinette—You will be finishing your center block and start working on checkerboards. Class Times: 9:00a-11:00a or 6:00p-8:00p; Class Fee: $10.00; Kit Fee: $16.00; Instructor: Bernadine.

 

August 17, 2010—Thimbleberries Big Quilt Club—I hope you are keeping up with your blocks! Feel free to stop in and get your kit! Kit Fee: $20.00.

 

August 24, 2010—Sewer’s Traveling Tote Part 2—Hopefully you have finished any homework that you were given last month! :) Class Times: 9:00a-11:00a or 6:00p-8:00p; Class Fee: $10.00; Kit Fee: $25.00; Instructor: Bernadine.

 

August 25, 2010—Open Sew—Take a break from the daily grind and sit and stitch a while with us! Class Times: 9a-5p; Class Fee: none.

August 31, 2010—”Icing on the Cake” Pillow—If you happen to be taking the Marie Antoinette class, this project was made as a companion pillow to that quilt. If you aren’t taking that class, you are still welcome to take the class and use fabrics that coordinate with your favorite quilt!
