We hope you all survived the holidays and didn’t lose your newsletter in the hustle and bustle! It always seems like we have a little bit of a “breather” between the end of the year classes and the start up of new ones; but this year it doesn’t feel that way! I (Paula) am typing this newsletter with no clue what classes it will hold when I am finished! YIKES! Keep reading and the “mystery” will be solved . . . for you and me both!
As promised, we will be having our winter sewing getaway at the Comfort Inn in Zanesville, February 16-18, 2012! Pray for snow so we can get lots accomplished! Pizza delivery could get a little boring, so hopefully it stays decent enough to walk to our favorite eating establishments! Your $35 registration fee will reserve your sewing space with us, but you will need to contact the Comfort Inn to reserve your sleeping quarters. We are limited on space, so be sure to sign up early!
Registration for the July Amish Country getaway, officially opens on February 1st! Your fee for that is $50 plus your sleeping rooms! Don’t forget that there will be two getaways at the Inn at Amish Door this year, so if July doesn’t work for you, there is always October!
We will be going to Sew Fest in February this year because convention is not until October! So, the shop will be CLOSED on Monday, February 6th, so that we can travel to Detroit and back again for class on Tuesday! Hopefully we will learn lots and have plenty to share with you when we get back!
Those of you taking the “Stitcher’s Garden” class ~ don’t forget that it will keep going until about May of this year! That is subject to change, but that is what we are guessing at this point!
Also, my first “Changing Season’s” Embroidery class will start on Tuesday, January 3rd! It will sneak right up on you, so mark your calendars! There is still time to sign up, so please let me know asap, if you plan to attend! Thimbleberries for 2012 will kick off on January 17th. You will pick up your kit that day (or anytime thereafter) for the entire first quarter and you may choose to pay the full kit price (for that quarter) at that time or we can break it down into monthly payments! Whatever works for you!
