wpe5B.jpg (4618 bytes)    I wish our cat could mow the grass! We hope you all are having a fabulous summer! The rain is getting a little out of hand, but it sure is making our flowers grow!

We have a bunch of exciting classes coming up this quarter, so check out the schedules to see what you want to sign up for! We even have a guest teacher for one of our classes!

We attended Quilt Market in Minneapolis and brought back some fun new project ideas that we will share with you in the coming months! We’ll add some pizzaz to your quilt bindings and next quarter you can use iron-on ribbon and swarovski crystals to jazz up a mini wall quilt.

The Pieceable Quilters are having their bi-annual quilt show the 17th and 18th of July. Hopefully you can make it to the Muskingum County Fairgrounds to check out the quilts! Admission is $3 for one day or $5 for a two-day pass. The hours on Saturday are 9am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm.

We’ll be heading to Amish Country the 21st of July for our annual Sewing Getaway! Be aware that the shop will be closed the 21st and 22nd. Be sure to check the calendar pages for other closures that will be occuring! Dad will be having his other knee replacement surgery toward the end of July, so during that time, call first to be sure we are open. We’ll only close the actual day of the surgery, so maybe we can get them to do it on a Friday again and it won’t effect you!

Mark you calendars for Saturday, October 16th!!! We are going to be doing our annual Sewing Spectacular that day!! We are changing things up a bit this year, so keep your eyes open for more details in the next couple of months !

Thought for the Day: Women are Angels and when someone breaks our wings . . . we simply continue to fly . . . on a broomstick . . . we are flexible like that . . .
